Cebu Pacific Air now adds the Terminal Fee to your tickets!!!
Its been done before for flights from Boracay, Manila and Cebu, but now, Terminal Fees from other airports will also be included when your purchase any Cebu Pacific domestic and international ticket.
This is how it works. Cebu Pacific will charge you with the Terminal Fee, then send the money to CAAP or the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. This step makes flying easier, for passengers need not line up to Terminal Fee counters anymore.
The terminal fee will automatically be charged to you when you book via online booking at www.cebupacificair.com or when you purchase your tickets via any Cebu Pac outlets or any travel agents.
We did a sample booking via ILOILO to MANILA. See picture below:
Iloilo Terminal Fee
The Terminal Fee is also called the Philippine Passenger Service Charge. It is also subjected to Value Added Tax. Overall, the Terminal Fee for the Iloilo airport is 200 pesos, and it now shows in your booking.
Terminal Fee varies from airport to airport. You might be charged for as low as 50 pesos to up to 300 Pesos like that of Mactan International Airport in Cebu. The NAIA Terminal 3 airport charges 300 pesos.
There is also an option that you can pay the Philippine Travel Tax of 1,620 Pesos during your bookings. But for this one, Cebu Pacific will charge you 80 Pesos extra. If you do not want to take this option, you can pay the Travel Tax at the airport on the day of your flight.
The Philippine Travel Tax is only applicable for those traveling abroad.
